Definition
When looking at the brachial plexus just above the clavicle, you will see the subclavian artery medially and the middle scalene muscle (MSM) lateral to the plexus. The plexus will appear as a cluster of hypoechoic round nodules (e.g., “grapes”) just lateral and superficial to the artery. The rib and pleura will be deep to the brachial plexus.
