Hyperbaric Oxygen: indications

Hyperbaric oxygen indication is listed below:
- Decompression sickness
- Air or gas embolism
- Carbon monoxide poisoning; cyanide poisoning; smoke inhalation
- Clostridial myostitis and myonecrosis
- Crush injuries, compartment syndromes and other acute traumatic peripheral ischemias
- Enhancement of healing in selected problem wounds
- Exceptional blood loss anaemia
- Intracranial abscess
- Necrotizing soft tissue infections
- Refractory osteomyelitis
- Compromised Skin flaps and grafts
- Delayed radiation injury (soft tissue and bony necrosis)
- Thermal burns
